H3 divides its released Base weights into two paths. FL2VA uses text with optional first and last frames. Ref2VA uses text with reference images, videos, and audio.
The local Ref2VA workflow accepts up to 12 mixed files. It allows up to nine images, three videos, and three audio files. Reference audio cannot be the only media input.
This split makes H3 useful when you want each input to have a clear role. An image can define identity while a video guides motion.
In DomoAI Omni Reference, the 50-reference limit is split into 30 images, 10 videos, and 10 audio files. Each video or audio file can be 2–30 seconds, with no more than 30 seconds combined per media type.
ByteDance documents reference-video understanding and targeted changes on its own surfaces. DomoAI Omni Reference does not expose local or region-level video editing, so treat that capability as an upstream distinction rather than a DomoAI workflow.
