Try DomoAI, the Best AI Animation Generator
Turn any text, image, or video into anime, realistic, or artistic videos. Over 30 unique styles available.
We've launched Omni Reference, a new way to build a video from up to 50 references at once — 30 images, 10 video clips, and 10 audio files — running on Seedance 2.5. It's live now, and MiniMax H3 is coming to the same surface next.
Omni Reference is a separate surface, not an update to an existing tool. It exists for one reason: most AI video tools let you attach a single reference image, and a single image is not enough to hold a character together for thirty seconds.
So we raised the ceiling. You can attach up to 30 images, 10 video clips, and 10 audio files in one generation. Each video reference runs 2–30 seconds, with 30 seconds as the combined maximum. Audio references follow the same limits.
The part that matters is not the number. It's that you assign every reference a job. In your prompt you say which image carries the character's identity, which clip carries the motion, which file carries the sound. The model stops guessing what you meant by each upload.
You can work from images, from video, or from audio alone — a generation can run on audio references with no image or clip attached. First and last frame control are both available.
| Spec | Value |
|---|---|
| Duration | 4–30 seconds |
| Resolution | 480P or 720P |
| Aspect ratios | Auto, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9, 1:1 |
| Audio | On / Off |
| Max references | 50 (30 images, 10 video clips, 10 audio files) |
| Video reference length | 2–30s each, 30s combined |
| Audio reference length | 2–30s each, 30s combined |
| Available in | Omni Reference |
Omni Reference is live at the AI Video panel, and it's open to every DomoAI account. It isn't switched on by default, so you'll need to open the surface and select it.
New accounts start with 30 credits. That covers one generation at 480P and four seconds — enough to run the feature once and see the output for yourself.
After that, the credit cost moves with what you upload, how long the clip runs, and which resolution you pick. There's no flat rate we can quote. Configure your references, then read the exact number on the Generate button before you commit. Plan details are on the pricing page.
Nothing you rely on today moves. Seedance 2.0 still powers Image to Video, Frames to Video, Character to Video, and Text to Video. We are not replacing it.
Omni Reference sits alongside them. Four practical differences:
If you're assembling a character sheet before you upload, AI Image Editing will clean up the source images first.
Seedance 2.5 has been available elsewhere since before our integration, so there's a body of work to look at.
@techhalla on X built frozen-time VFX sequences using timecoded shot-list prompts, in a post that reached 191K views. (Source)
On r/Seedance_AI, a "vlog style ads" thread scored 109 upvotes, with commenters pointing at motion coherence on longer clips. (Source)
Manual de Criacao on YouTube ran the same prompt through Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 across 30 videos, which is the clearest side-by-side available. (Source)
We'd rather point you at other people's tests than write our own launch-day claims. Once Omni Reference has been in creators' hands long enough to judge, we'll update this post.
Seedance 2.5 is the first model on this surface, not the only one. MiniMax H3 is coming to Omni Reference, with its own reference limits and its own output ceiling.
We're not publishing its numbers until the integration scope is final. When it ships, Omni Reference becomes a place where you pick the model that fits the shot — a long multi-reference sequence, or something shorter and sharper — without leaving the page or rebuilding your reference set.
Is Seedance 2.5 the same as DomoAI 2.5?
No. Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's video model, which we integrate through an API. DomoAI 2.5 is our own model, and it runs in Image to Video only. Different companies, different model lines.
Where do I find Seedance 2.5 on DomoAI?
In Omni Reference, at domoai.app/create/omni-reference. It isn't in Image to Video, Frames to Video, or any other feature — those still run Seedance 2.0.
Can I try it for free?
New accounts get 30 credits, which covers one generation at 480P and four seconds. Existing accounts don't receive extra credits for this launch.
What's the maximum resolution?
720P. Omni Reference runs at 480P or 720P only.
When does MiniMax H3 arrive?
We haven't set a public date. It's coming to the same surface, and we'll announce the specifications when the integration scope is confirmed.
